Do you think you could start a new life today without ever using a computer in that new life? There are so many things that are handled using computers these days I don’t think anyone should be able to answer that question with a yes. It is safe to say that computers are a part of everyday life. Just about every household that I have visited houses at least one computer. Even with this growing notion, some people still don’t take the time to learn about the devices that are gradually becoming the new worldly means of operation.

A computer is a device operating under the control of a specified set of instructions stored in its memory. It can accept and process data, produce their results and store them for future use. There are different devices that have specified purposes but when they all come together, they make up what is known as a computer. Studying these devices has become a fascination of mine and I often am willing to learn more about them. For a better experience in general, everyone should know more.

There are basically 3 types of devices involved with computers. They are input devices, processing devices, and output devices. Input devices put data into a computer readable form. Some examples of these types of devices are a keyboard, mouse, scanner, microphone, and many other devices also. These all interpret knowledge or information from us and internalize them into the computer. The keyboard takes the words and numbers from us. The mouse gets orders of where and what we want. The scanner accepts images of things we would like on the computer.
